Robin Lee: I think what AI should do is to let it help and serve people. What it should not do is to let it hurt and control people. Like all technologies, if we don't pay attention to controlling it, there will be problems. For example, if you encounter a high-voltage line, you will be electrocuted. It does not mean that electricity is smarter than people, but that accidents may occur during the development of this technology

in this regard, we should make corresponding plans and take preventive measures to avoid deviation. If there is something harmful about AI's ability, we should quickly pull it back and control it. If AI has a negative impact on people's normal activities in some aspects, we should also regulate it. Some international organizations have said that we should not develop AI weapons or lethal weapons. I think this is a good direction. We don't want it to be used where it shouldn't be used

let me give a medical example. Patients fell down in the ward and were not found in time. It is impossible for the hospital to arrange a person to watch these patients in the ward for 24 hours. However, some cameras can be installed to use the AI capability to monitor whether the patient has fallen. For application scenarios like this, we should dig more and let them serve and help people. according to the data I have seen, traffic congestion will cause a loss of 5% to 8% of GDP every year. As far as Beijing is concerned, it is a loss of hundreds of billions every year. I also see that Beijing spends a lot of money on controlling traffic congestion every year. I see a figure of more than 50 billion a year. So much money is used to build expressways, subways, large parking lots, etc., but only a small amount of money is invested in traffic infrastructure construction at the software level
